Brittany Stewart is an accomplished writer, journalist, and educator.  She has her BS ED in Education and Minor in Journalism with a focus on Native American Literature.  After teaching in her local district, she saw her children being indoctrinated and suffering academically, so she took a leap of faith and withdrew them.  Her children have flourished over the last several years in a homeschooling environment, learning at their own paces, and meeting some of their best friends in HUG (Homeschool Underground) - the co-op she runs.  She believes in parent-led education free from government overreach, enjoys an eclectic-classical model of instruction, and the freedom that homeschool provides.  Today, other than managing HUGAZ (Homeschool Underground), She mentors other families just starting their homeschooling journey or those needing some encouragement, she is a contributor for Public School Exit, maintains RAISE Them Up a Homeschool Substack, is co-owner of FreeRangeFamilies a Homeschool Podcast, works with Proverbs Media Group, and teaches at her local dance studio.
