Dr. Duke Pesta

Dr. Duke Pesta is the Director of FreedomProject Academy, host of the Dr. Duke Show podcast, and a tenured professor of English at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He received his M.A. in Renaissance literature from John Carroll University and his PhD in Shakespeare and Renaissance literature from Purdue University. He has taught at major research institutions and small liberal arts colleges on a wide variety of subjects at the graduate and undergraduate levels. His book, The Renaissance and the Postmodern: A Study in Comparative Critical Values, was published by Routledge in 2016. He has been active in educational reform, and was instrumental in developing and implementing an elective Bible course that is currently available for public high school students in Texas.
Dr. Pesta is one of America’s foremost authorities on the dangers of Common Core and the federal takeover of education, having delivered over 700 hundred talks in 46 states. Dr. Pesta hosts his own weekly program about education—The Dr. Duke Show—which covers educational issues from preschool through graduate school. He also hosts a weekly segment for The College Fix, a top-twenty-five conservative site dedicated to reporting on campus abuses.
