The public education system has increasingly become a means of delivering a variety of ideologies that are not only morally destructive, but which are factually incorrect. Whether it be a distorted view of history, a slant on science that excludes established facts that disprove a universe that is "millions" of years old, the sexualization of children as young as five, or even math that says '2+2=5' is okay! 

The pandemic has proven that millions of parents who thought they couldn't teach their kids at home, actually did, and did so quite well.

This year our home education seminar will offer more information than ever before. Thursday, June 1st, is our Introduction to Home Schooling program, intended for families that have never before home-schooled. Dr. Broggi will cover the reasons to home-educate, along with the various laws, and regulations relating to home-schooling. 

Friday, June 2nd, Audrey Broggi will host "Refreshing Your Perspective." This program will encourage moms who educate their children at home. She will talk about keeping your perspective fresh and trusting God, even when it's very hard. If you have taken on this task, join Audrey...you will be encouraged!

Saturday, June 3rd will offer our annual "Book-Blast," an opportunity to purchase used curriculum at a fraction of the new price.

The events are all free, but the Thursday and Friday events do require pre-registration.

The Foundation for American Christian Education is pleased to announce
 a free course  

Renewing the Mind for Teaching and Learning 

Taught by Dr. Brenda MacMenamin 

February 3- April 7 (10 weeks) live online (using Zoom), 12 noon-1:30 pm EST 

Renewing the Mind for Teaching and Learning is a study in the Principle Approach, a new way of thinking that views all life and learning through a Biblical lens.

A Biblical philosophy of education begets a fresh approach to both curriculum and method. Start the New Year by “renewing your mind for teaching and learning” with a group of like-minded patriots. This study is the first step in the process of restoring true Biblical education, the source of liberty and Christian self-government.

  • Teach using a time-tested method of successful education

  • Master the joy and spirit of subject material—vocabulary, principles and leading ideas

  • Establish the purpose of learning—overviews, timelines, maps, goals

  • Construct a solid Biblical and academic curriculum

  • Create an appealing learning environment providing the right tools

  • Consistently uphold the standards of Christian scholarship and character

  • Celebrate learning by incorporating music, art, drama, pageantry, performance and all the arts 

Dr Brenda MacMenamin has loved learning our Christian Heritage and Character of our Founders through Teaching and Learning the Principle Approach with FACE, Foundation for American Christian Education, since 1984. She has taught her own children, parents and students through co-ops and churches locally and to online study groups. In the summer of 2021, she was delighted to earn her FACE Principle Approach Master Teacher Certification. Now, she looks forward to introducing the Principle Approach through this Renewing the Mind study group.

The prevalence of perversion, subversion, and indoctrination are becoming more prevalent, and in order to protect the hearts and minds of our children, it is wise to consider other education options.

We invite you to join us on the morning of Saturday, April 25th in Arlington Heights to hear from a great line up of experts as we explore what we need to do to begin to rebuild the culture through education. The event is free and open to the public.
