Dead Name is an indie documentary that explores the impact of transgender identity on the parents of children who have declared or been assigned a different gender from their birth sex. The film follows three stories of parents who struggle with shock, grief, isolation, and fear as they try to cope with their children’s decisions to transition or be transitioned.
